Homestay
The school’s experienced accommodation officer is always available to answer any queries. Living with a family gives students an ideal opportunity to learn about the English way of life. The learning process is enhanced by talking, reading and watching television or joint outings.

Students of different nationalities are placed within the same host family to encourage spoken English. This often leads to life-long friendships. The majority of the host families are within walking distance from the school. At the end of their stay students are asked to evaluate their accommodation. This helps to maintain the highest possible standards. In the winter, unless specifically requested, students are accommodated in single rooms. In the summer, students may be accommodated in a twin-bedded room. The families will do the student’s personal light laundry and provide bed linen and towels. For heavier items there are launderettes and dry-cleaners near the School.

Welfare
Advice is always available from our Welfare Officer. If necessary, students normally see their host family’s doctor or dentist, but the school can help if this is not possible. Students are strongly advised to take out adequate insurance before travelling to Britain.
