It was great to welcome students from Canada and Beijing and everywhere in between. It was really lovely to see some faces from 2004 – students and staff.
Summer is always really good fun at a language school, both for students and staff. Meeting students from around the world is wonderful but saying goodbye to them is really sad. There were many tears shed on Fridays this year as people said goodbye to friends that they had made. Keep in touch with them, it’s a great way to continue practising your English. The weather was quite good – those students who experienced two cool damp weeks in July may not agree - but on the whole it was dry and sunny. I could tell from the sun tans that the sports staff had! We had a new summer centre this year in Bournemouth as well as the existing one at Royal Tunbridge Wells.
