Moyles Court School - Ringwood
Location
Moyles Court School is situated about 20km to the north of Bournemouth in an area of outstanding natural beauty within the New Forest. Set in a rural location, Moyles Court is a very safe “enclosed” environment for young students, where privacy
is assured.
The school is set amongst the extensive grounds
of an impressive mansion house dating back to
the Doomsday Book of 1086. It has some excellent modern facilities, including grass tennis courts, modern indoor sports hall for table tennis, basketball, badminton, etc, playing fields, video rooms and full computer access for lessons.
Accommodation
Residential accommodation – shared rooms/dormitories with 2-8 students per room. Shower rooms are available on each corridor with boys and girls accommodated in separate areas of the school. Students are supervised by
our residential staff.
All meals are taken in the school cafeteria except when there is a full-day excursion and packed lunches are provided by the school. Weekly laundry is also included.
Tuition and Activity Programme
- 15 hours tuition per week
- Lessons from 9.00 – 12.30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
- All course materials are included
- One full - and one half-day excursion per week
- Varied sports and activity programme

Sports
The following sports are available at Moyles Court:
Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Rounders, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Athletics.
Small groups of students can be taken together to other sporting activities on an optional basis where they will need to pay an entrance/users fee:
Bowling, Rowing, Horse riding, Swimming, Golf driving range, Ski Centre, Mountain Biking, Canoeing.
Similarly, for those who are not of a sporting nature, and who wish to go on other visits in addition to those planned, again paying an entrance charge, the following are available:
Museum, Oceanarium, Sega World, Cinema, Art Gallery, Priory Quay, Boat Trip, Poole Quay, Crab Fishing, New Forest Cream Tea
Charges range from £3.00 - £8.00 with the exception of horse riding (approx. £28 an hour including transport). All optional activities are accompanied by a member of staff. |

A period of one hour is set aside for homework immediately after dinner from 19.00 – 20.00 During this period, parents can call their children on the school telephone: TBC
We ask that parents keep to this arrangement and only telephone outside these hours in an emergency.
Emails can be sent to: TBC at a later date
Following allocation of a room, students must leave their passport, ticket and money with the Course Director. We take no responsibility for the loss of cameras and mobile phones. Provided these are named, they can also be left with the Course Director.
A light laundry service is provided free of charge. |
