Beechwood College - Tunbridge Wells
Beechwood Sacred Heart College is situated 40 miles from London. The college is set in the extensive grounds of an elegant Victorian Mansion, just 1km from the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells. The college has excellent facilities, outdoor swimming pool, 5 tennis courts, 2 sports halls, playing fields and video room.

Sports

The following sports are available at Beechwood School:
Tennis, Table Tennis, Swimming, Badminton, Volley Ball, Rounders, Cricket, Football, Basket Ball, Croquet, Athletics

Small groups of students can be taken together to other sporting activities on an optional basis where they will need to pay an entrance/users fee:
Ice skating, Bowling, Golf, Horse riding *, Indoor swimming, Water chutes

Similarly, for those who are not of a ‘sporting’ nature, and who wish to go on other visits in addition to those planned, but again paying an entrance charge, the following are available:
Canal cruise, Mill visit, Farm visit, Baronial Hall visit, Art Gallery, Brass rubbing, Cathedral visit, Park & Boating

Charges range from £2.00 to £5.00 with the exception of *horse riding (approx £15.00 per hour)

All optional activities are accompanied by a member of staff and transport is provided.

 

 

Timetable

Breakfast: 08.15 – 09.00 (Breakfast on Sundays is later 09.00– 09.45)
Lunch: 12.30 – 13.30
Dinner: 18.00 – 19.00
