Wentworth College - Bournemouth
Wentworth College, situated just 200 metres from Bournemouth’s award winning beaches and just 2 km from Bournemouth town centre, is set amongst beautiful gardens in an elegant Victorian mansion. The college has excellent sports facilities, indoor heated sports hall with basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, playing fields, video rooms etc.

Sports

The following sports are available at Wentworth College:
Tennis, Table Tennis, Indoor Swimming, Badminton, Volleyball, Rounders, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Athletics.

During the periods marked 'Sports and Activities', small groups of students can be taken together to other sporting activities on an optional basis where they will need to pay an entrance/users fee:
Bowling, Squash, Rowing, Horse riding, Swimming with water chutes,
Golf driving range, Ski Centre.

Similarly, for those who are not of a sporting nature, and who wish to go on other visits in addition to those planned, again paying an entrance charge, the following are available:
Museum, Oceanarium, Sega World, Cinema, Art Gallery, Priory Quay, Boat Trip, Poole Quay, Crab Fishing, New Forest Cream Tea

Charges range from £3.00 - £8.00 with the exception of horse riding (approx. £20 an hour including transport). All optional activities are accompanied by a member of staff.

Dinner	18.00 – 19.00

A period of one hour is set aside for homework immediately after dinner from 19.00 – 20.00 During this period, parents can call their children on the school telephone: 00 44 1202 424743.

We ask that parents keep to this arrangement and only telephone outside these hours in an emergency.

Following allocation of a room, students must leave their passport, ticket and money with the Course Director. We take no responsibility for the loss of cameras and mobile phones. Provided these are named, they can also be left with the Course Director.

A light laundry service is provided free of charge.
